Spring Therapeutic Horticulture Wellbeing Program
The Topsoil Garden Project is thrilled to offer our Spring program in 2024. We are dedicated to creating transformative, nature-based therapies that offer compassionate care and foster a supportive community through gardening and connection to nature.
What is it?
Experience a nature-based wellbeing program guided by natural seasonal rhythms as we blossom into spring. The 10-week program focuses on new growth, reflecting on the winter, and transformation through enacting change we have previously considered. Garden activities include preparing garden beds, planting spring seeds, pruning and pickling veggies. Mental health strategies are interwoven into garden activities, including emotional regulation skills, exploring values, grounding techniques and developing reflective practice. Learning is through both facilitated sessions and peers. The season is concluded with a celebratory community event ( close friend and family welcome).
When and where is it?
Sessions are held at an accessible garden space located near The Scenic Hotel, Old Norton Summit Road, Norton Summit, SA. The program will begin in September and be held on Mondays and Saturdays.
Is this for you?
